So like I said, I’m still down here in austin, but 2 nights ago, my trusty old iBook 800mhz G4 laptop took it’s last breath…or cycle…or whatever computers do. Some internal component fried and as a result, the whole machine went down, it still turns on, but the screen remains black and an awful grinding sound comes from inside the computer.
So anyway, I had saved up enough from working that I went ahead and bought a 15.4 inch MacBook Pro laptop. I got it in under 15 hours, and I love the thing. There’s just so many great little features about it that make it so much fun to use. Not to mention the screen I have is the glossy type, so for my graphics work it’s perfect. It’s fast as hell too, now I just need a new little digital camera for snapping spontaneous pics, and I’ll be completely set.

Damn you Mr. “I got a MacBook Pro, look at me!!”!! Hah hah. Congrats, though.
Like I said, I opted out of getting that Inspiron. Can’t tell if I regret it or not, but I’m going to have to buy a gig memory chip for my desktop and an external hard drive sooner or later – way too many pictures on the compy. Which sucks, but I don’t have the heart to get rid of any of them. Which sucks even more. But I digress.
I really really really hope all of us have lunch together again… I think I’m getting my schedule tomorrow, and I haven’t bothered to investigate what classes everyone else has. *Shrug*
And nice picture of you on the toilet on facebook, btw. Hahaha.
